What is Multi-Factor Authentication? Enhanced (Multi-Factor Authentication) MFA is a multi-step login process that requires more than a password to access a system.
Why is MFA important? MFA provides an additional layer of protection against potentially compromised credentials.
How often will I have to Multi-Factor Authenticate into the system? Multi Factor Authentication registration will be required once. You will then utilize the MFA method every time you log into the system.
Will I have an option to skip Multi-Factor Authentication? Setting up an MFA Method will be required. Once the method is set up you will utilize your default MFA Method to log in.
What if I already set up MFA on my account? Previous MFA methods will be replaced with this new process. Please proceed with setting up a new MFA method and use that moving forward to access your account.
I have an API account and now my testers can’t use it for testing because it has MFA.
API accounts are meant for API access only and there is no MFA when accessing via API endpoints.
Any web based interactive use should be done using non-API accounts. If you need help adding accounts, please call our support team or get in touch with your account manager.
