  • What is Multi-Factor Authentication?
    Enhanced (Multi-Factor Authentication) MFA is a multi-step login process that requires more than a password to access a system, providing an additional layer of protection against potentially compromised credentials.
  • How often will I have to Multi Factor Authenticate into the system?
    Multi-Factor Authentication registration will be required once. You will then be required to utilize the MFA method every 30 days to log into the system.
  • Can I add multiple MFA methods?
    Yes! Click Manage How I login located on the login page to manage your MFAs/Profile.
  • What is the purpose of Identity Verification?
    Identity verification is designed to validate the identity of anyone who attempts to register and log in to RMIS on behalf of a carrier by matching their government issued ID against a selfie taken in real time. Already a proven defense against digital impersonation across many large industries, this technology will deliver an enhanced level of trust to your application, your carrier network, and the freight industry at large.
  • How often will a I be required to validate my identity?
    It will be required to validate your identity once a year or when the provided ID expires.
  • Will I have the option to defer ID Verification?
    Yes! You will have the option to defer ID Verification, simply click Skip For Now.
  • What are the acceptable forms of ID that can be verified?
    Drivers Licenses and Passports are acceptable forms of ID.
  • Should ID Verification be completed on a mobile phone or a laptop/desktop?
    The ID Verification process can be completed on a mobile device or a laptop.
  • How long does the ID Verification process take?
    The automated ID Verification process takes approximately 30 seconds if an acceptable ID is scanned.
  • Why is it required to take a selfie after I upload a valid ID?
    A selfie is required to compare against a valid government ID for authenticity and validity.
  • How long does the ID and selfie comparison process take?
    If no errors arise in the comparison of the ID and selfie, the process will take less than 5 minutes.
  • How many attempts will I have to verify my ID?
    You will have 5 attempts to verify your ID. After 5 unsuccessful automated attempts you will be locked out for 24hrs.
  • How many attempts will I have to log in to RMIS?
    After 5 unsuccessful attempts to log in, your account will be locked for 5 minutes. After the 5 minutes have passed you can press Reset Password to set a new password.
